1.  Technical Rider for Vic Fontana and the Automatics

1. General Requirements
Except as otherwise agreed to by the parties in writing or as otherwise stated in the attached Artist Production Rider,
Purchaser shall provide at its sole cost, all elements of the production as required by Artist including without limitation,
catering, dressing rooms, sound, lights, and staging.  This Rider is attached to and made apart of the contract between
the purchaser and Vic Fontana and the Automatics.

2.
Merchandising
Artists shall have sole and exclusive rights to sell and distribute merchandise of any kind at the engagement. Unless
otherwise agreed to in writing, artist shall retain 100% of gross receipts resulting from the sells of said merchandise.
Purchaser shall provide, at its sole cost well lit, secure prime locations for merchandising.

3.
Billing and Advertising
Unless otherwise stated to the contrary in the contract, artists shall receive 100% sole headline billing in any and all
press releases, advertisements and other publicity including but not limited to radio, television, ad mats, tickets,
newspapers, programs, fliers, signs, lobby boards, and marquees. Artist billing must read “Vic Fontana and the
Automatics.” Artist shall have approval over all advertising, promotions and sponsorship. The artist is sponsored by
Budweiser and requests that any reference to beer in relationship to the artist be Budweiser products or nothing at all.
No other acts or bands will be allowed to appear on this show without prior approval.

4.
Complimentary Tickets
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, Artist shall have the right to receive not more than twenty five (25)
complimentary tickets for each show.

5.
Hospitality and Accommodations
Purchaser is to provide one (1) climate controlled dressing room with full length mirror and bathroom suitable for at
least ten (10) people. Two cases of iced down bottled water and two dozen hand towels. Dressing room must have a
key lock and the key should be given to the band leader upon arrival.

6.
Over Night Stays
Purchaser is to provide six (6) non smoking double occupancy rooms. Hotel must be at least a three star rating and
located as close to the venue as possible.

7.
Sound Production
A.  House System should consist of:
1. Yamaha, Soundcraft, or Comparable, 24 Channel minimum (dedicated to Vic Fontana and the Automatics.)
2. 31 Band EQ (two if stereo) with electronic crossovers.
3. Three or Four way sound system in excellent working condition free of hum and/or buzz. System must be of
adequate size and power to cover the seating area without distortion.
B.   
Monitor system
1. Yamaha, Soundcraft, or Comparable, 24 Channel minimum (dedicated to Vic Fontana and the Automatics.) Capable
of 8 mono mixes.
2. Eight one third octave EQ’s inserted per mix.
3. Eight matching monitor cabinets with 12” or 15” speakers and 1” or 2” horns properly powered and clean of hum
and/or distortion.

Microphones, stands, DI’s, and subsnakes

Lighting
1. Adequate lighting to cover the stage area and should be capable of dimming without causing hum to sound system.
E. Staging
1. Stage should be 24’ wide x 16’ deep. Stage should also be 16”to 32” high with 8’ x 8’drum riser with adequate steps.
F.
Outdoor shows
1. Purchaser shall provide adequate stage covering to protect all people and equipment involved in the production of
the engagement. Artist shall have the sole right to determine whether any inclement weather might be hazardous to
band, crew, or equipment at this event. Purchaser shall remain liable to pay artist the full contract price.
G.
Personnel
1. The provided system must come with two qualified engineers to setup, line check, mix front of house, monitors, or
lighting if called upon. They must be able to setup and have the system running prior to the bands move in/sound
check time, which is to be advanced with the purchaser.
H.
Load in and Sound Check
1. Adequate parking area for performer’s vehicles and trailers. It is necessary for this area to be located close to the
stage area.
2. For the ideal sound check a two hour period when the venue is closed to the public and sound free prior to door’s
opening.

Electrical Requirements
1. Requirements vary per venue and size of production.
